Mission
The mission of Motor City Performing Arts is to promote the advancement, expansion, and education of the performing arts and pageantry by inspiring members, staff, and affiliates to pursue excellence both in their personal and professional lives. This organization is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
History
Motor City Performing Arts was founded in July 2018 as an answer to the ever growing administrative burden for performing arts groups and their operations. It is comprised entirely of volunteers, and currently hosts a 12 member Executive Board, and 20+ qualified staff members that are used to provide the best instruction and resources to all members and participants. MCPA’s goal is to grow the awareness and accessibility of the performing arts to all ages.
